Your Home Just Got a Nose for Security.
Overview
Metaprint gives pet owners the one thing no existing door can: the freedom to stop worrying. Built on the same biological logic as a fingerprint, it reads each pet's unique biometric identity; letting the right animals through and keeping everything else out.

Challenge
Pet doors offer convenience at the cost of security, creating a permanent opening in the home that any animal or intruder can use. Existing solutions like microchip flaps offer limited access control, no monitoring, and no real-time awareness. Pet owners are left choosing between their pet's freedom and their home's security.
Insight
Just as humans have unique fingerprints, every cat and dog has its own distinct paw and nose prints. That biological fact is the foundation of a smarter solution. If a pet's identity is already encoded in its body, the door simply needs to learn to read it.
Answer
Metaprint is a high-tech pet door that uses biometric scanning to read each pet's unique paw and nose prints, granting access only to authorized animals while keeping unwanted intruders out. The companion app gives owners complete control, managing biometric profiles, setting custom locking schedules, receiving real-time alerts, and monitoring activity through an integrated camera. Together, the product and app deliver a seamless, smart solution that gives pets their freedom without compromising the home.
