Challenge 

The traditional taco shell is iconic, but it comes with a familiar set of frustrations; it's fragile, messy, and not built for eating on the go. The challenge was to rethink the format in a way that meaningfully addresses those shortcomings without losing the character that makes tacos so beloved.

Insight 

The target audience craves innovation, but not at the cost of connection. By deeply understanding their lifestyle, motivations, and frustrations, it became clear that the product needed to feel both fresh and rooted, modern in form, but honest in its cultural heritage. The visual language of traditional Mexican culture, when reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, helps bridge that gap and resonate genuinely.

Answer

Taco Tubes is a product and packaging identity system that balances the familiar with a twist. The bold, eye-catching packaging balances modern simplicity for clarity alongside traditional tile work pattern, nodding to cultural roots. A typographic system layering handwritten texture, heavy weight, and clean simplicity, paired with a culturally informed yet modern color palette, gives the brand a lively and authentic voice. The system demontsrates a range of SKU's, including Regular, Spicy, and Jalapeño, allowing flexibility for future expansion while maintaining visual consistency across the line.
